Cookie policy

Cookie policy

Effective from 1 October 2026. Earlier versions are available in the version archive in the Service.

Definitions

Capitalised terms not defined in this Policy have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy and the Website Terms of Use available in the Service.

Cookies – small text files saved on your device by the browser when you use the Service. Together with cookies, we also describe similar technologies here, in particular localStorage and sessionStorage (browser memory).

Service – the Exerizon website available at exerizon.com, including its subpages and subdomains.

Controller (also: Exerizon, we) – Exerizon P.S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Grzybowska 5A, 00-132 Warszawa, Poland, NIP: 5223288319, REGON: 527780576 (full details in the Privacy Policy).

§1 What cookies and similar technologies are

1. What they are for. Cookies and browser memory let a website recognise your browser between page views and visits: thanks to them a site can remember your settings or the choice you made in a cookie banner.

2. Session and persistent. Session cookies live only until you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain on the device for the period given in the inventory in §3, or until you delete them.

3. First-party and third-party. First-party items are set within our domain. Third-party items are set by another provider whose content is loaded into the Service, for example when you play an embedded video. The inventory in §3 gives the provider of each item.

4. Browser memory. localStorage and sessionStorage are browser memory: data saved there is not sent automatically with every request; it is read by the Service on your device.

5. A light footprint. The Service is an informational website with a contact form: no accounts, no shop, no advertising. We have designed it to work with as few cookies as possible, and our visit statistics are collected without any cookies or persistent identifiers at all (see §3(3)).

§2 Legal basis and your consent

1. Basis. We use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with Article 399 of the Polish Act of 12 July 2024, the Electronic Communications Law, and with the GDPR.

2. Without consent, only what is necessary. Without your consent, the only items that operate are those necessary to provide the Service you request (Article 399(3) of the Electronic Communications Law): secure delivery of pages, protection of the contact form against abuse, and remembering the very decision you make in the cookie banner, so that we do not ask you about it on every visit.

3. Consent in the banner. For any category that is not necessary we ask for consent in the banner on your first visit. Consent is voluntary and granular: the "Accept" button accepts all optional categories, and in "Settings" you can switch each category on and off separately or reject all of them. Using the Service does not depend on your decision. If the inventory in §3 contains no optional items at a given time, the banner is not shown.

4. Nothing on your device without consent. Without your consent we do not save or read any analytics or marketing cookies or browser memory entries on your device. Our visit statistics work without them and do not recognise you on subsequent days.

5. We remember your choice. We remember your banner choice for up to 12 months. After that, we will ask again.

6. Withdrawing consent. You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the Service. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and does not affect earlier processing.

§3 What cookies we use: categories and full inventory

1. Necessary. They enable secure delivery of the Service, protect the contact form against automated abuse and remember your banner choice. They always operate, without consent.

3. Visit statistics without cookies. The platform hosting the Service (Framer) provides us with aggregate statistics: number of visits, pages viewed, country, device type and traffic source. This works without cookies and without any persistent identifier: a visitor is counted within a one-day window only, and we cannot recognise you on the next day or link the statistics to you. Because nothing is stored on your device, this does not require your consent under the Electronic Communications Law; the processing of connection data involved is based on the Controller's legitimate interest (knowing how the Service is used), as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Analytics (with consent). Analytics tools that store identifiers on your device would show us in more detail how the Service is used. They would operate only with your consent.

5. Embedded content. Some pages of the Service may contain videos hosted on YouTube. We embed them in privacy-enhanced mode: nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, Google may set cookies in its own domain under its own cookie policy.

6. External services linked from the Service. Job applications are handled on an external recruitment platform (apply.workable.com) and our social media pages are on LinkedIn and YouTube. The Service only contains links to them; when you follow a link, the operator of that site applies its own cookie policy.

§4 Cookies, personal data and supervision

1. When a cookie is personal data. A cookie or browser memory entry on its own does not usually identify you. When, however, it is combined with other information (e.g. with an enquiry you sent us), it may become personal data: its processing is then described in the Privacy Policy (purposes, bases, rights, recipients).

2. Aggregated statistics. Our visit statistics contain no persistent identifiers and cannot be linked back to you.

3. Supervision. Compliance with personal data protection rules is supervised by the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl), and compliance with the rules on cookies and terminal equipment by the President of the Polish Office of Electronic Communications (uke.gov.pl).

§5 How to manage cookies

1. In the Service. The simplest way: the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. There you can change or withdraw consent at any time.

2. In the browser. You can review, restrict and delete cookies and browser memory in your browser settings. Instructions for the most popular browsers:

  1. Chrome,

  2. Firefox,

  3. Safari,

  4. Edge,

  5. Opera.

3. Effects of blocking. Blocking all browser storage may prevent the contact form from working correctly and will make the banner appear on every visit. Nothing else in the Service depends on cookies.

4. Private mode. In private (incognito) mode the browser deletes cookies and browser memory when you close the window: on your next visit the banner, if shown, will ask for your choice again.

§6 Changes to this Policy and version history

1. Updates. We update the Policy when the technologies we use or the law change, and we verify the inventory in §3 with each version. Each version has a number, an effective date and a short description of changes, and earlier versions are archived in the Service.

2. How we inform you. We will inform you of significant changes in the Service before they take effect. Introducing any consent-based category will always be preceded by an update of this Policy and of the banner.

3. Language. This document is drawn up in English, which is its sole binding version.
